Thyme is a strongly aromatic herb with a sharper sweet taste and aroma reminiscent of camphor or cloves. Thyme is a spice made from dried twigs, leaves and flowers. The distinct taste and aroma of thyme will stand out not only when preparing game, poultry and minced meat, but also in traditional Czech sauces, stuffings, pâtés, cheeses and herb butters. It is excellent in chicken stuffing or in tomato sauces and soups. In mixtures with oregano and basil it is used on pizza and pasta. The sharp undertones of thyme will enhance the taste of baked, grilled or stewed fish
